Invoices Sent by Email at End of August
By now, all members who have given the club a working email address should have received their invoice for dues and fees. Per our by-laws, payments are due by October 1st. Members who have not paid by October 1st will incur a late fee. Members who have not paid by October 15th may have their membership terminated. Please mail payments to Caberfae Ski Club, PO Box 655, Cadillac, MI 49601. If you have not yet received your invoice, please contact Katie Sturgeon at secretary-treasurer@caberfaeskiclub.org.
Fall Work Bee is Saturday, October 1st
The Fall work bee will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 1st. We have lots to do to get our club in shape for the coming ski season. Come out to help and earn your work bee credit for the 2023-24 season. Wear old clothes so you can clean, paint, and organize. Lunch will be served at the conclusion of the morning’s work. Please contact Paul Waug at waugelect@aol.com to let him know if you plan to attend. This will also help us plan for lunch. (Don’t let the lack of an RSVP stop you from coming if your plans change and you decide to attend. The more workers we have the better!)
Golf Outing on Saturday, October 1st
Gather a twosome or foursome of ski club golfers and join us for nine holes on Caberfae’s course. Golfers are responsible for setting their own tee time. (Please call the Caberfae Peaks course at 231-862-3000. ) Groups should try to start about 2:00 p.m.
Do You Have Children Under 12?
As we get ready for what we hope will be a more normal ski season, we will most likely bring back our children’s play area in the round room. Is this something parents appreciate? Can you give us guidance on the toys and games your children enjoy? Do you have ideas for children’s activities? Would you like to help with them? Your ideas and feedback will be greatly appreciated. Please email president@caberfaeskiclub.org with your thoughts.
