My Key to the Parking Lot Door Doesn’t Work - Help!
1. Welcome New Members!
The club would like to welcome our new members for the 2023-24 ski season. We will be having an open house and dinner for all members on December 30th. All members are welcome to attend. Meet the board members and have time to ask questions. More information will be out in December.
2. Policy Update
The club’s needs have changed over the recent years and we want to support a family-oriented club where individuals under the age of 18, who are accompanied by an adult, may enter the upper level of the club. This is good news for a lot of families and if you have any comments let the board know.
3. New Assistant Secretary/Treasurer
Jessica Danford is joining us as the Assistant Secretary/Treasurer. Jessica grew up in Cadillac and spent her winters at Caberfae Peaks and as a ski club member of the Hubbell family. Toby and Jessica moved back to Cadillac in 2014 and joined the club in 2022. They have three ski obsessed girls (ages 2, 4 & 6) who are pumped for a snowy winter and “parties at the ski club”. Jessica is excited to put her accounting and finance skills to good use by lending a hand to the Caberfae Ski Club this season. A big thank you to Jessica!
4. Updated Upstairs Bathrooms
The carpet is gone and the bathrooms on the second floor have had a makeover this summer. This was a capital project that took many volunteer hours from club members. Thank you to Carol and Tac Lee, Teresa and Mart Williams, Mark Pikula, Paul Waug, Kyle Tayler, Joe Host and John Stoudt for helping to complete this project.
5. Place Your Order Now!
Need a new jacket or sweatshirt for the winter embroidered with our logo? We are now taking orders. Place orders between now and November 30th to secure your goods. To view the logo wear, please click here.
6. Gift Certificates!
If you didn’t know the kitchen has gift certificates for those hard to find gifts. A great idea for stocking stuffers, birthdays or just because. See Sue in the kitchen and she will assist with any questions.
7. Parking Lot Door Now Coded
No more keys are needed for the parking lot entrance! We have gone to a key pad if you need to get into the building when the building is not open. Remember during the season the building is open one hour prior to the hill and closes one hour after hill closes. Code is on the board in the warm locker room.
If for some reason you need to get in and you don’t remember the code, give the secretary a call or text to 616-548-0228.

Thank you to the Cadillac Ski Team for coming out on Saturday to rake the leaves. They had a beautiful but cold morning to rake, socialize and then coach had them climb the hill. Good luck this race season!
