Fresh Snow in the Forecast!
From Caberfae 1/9: "We received and inch of snow overnight and have a lot more in the forecast for today and tonight. The NWS has another 6" in the forecast, and Weather.com and AccuWeather are still showing 6" to 10" in the forecast for the next 24 hours. Snowmaking temps return Thursday night and the snowmaking crew has transitioned over to South Peak." No More Walking in the Mud to Lifts, WOOHOO!

The Reunion potluck scheduled for today, Tuesday, January 9th, has been cancelled. No word yet if it will be rescheduled, so hold those recipe’s for the time being!
FINAL DAYS TO NOMINATE - Call for New Board Members
The CSC Board of Directors Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for two open Board positions. We currently have three nominees and would like at least one more. Deadline for nominations is Saturday, January 13th. Individuals interested in running for the Board, a four-year term position, please contact Brian Van Haren (bvanharen@vanharen.com) or Karl Hanson (karlfhanson@yahoo.com).
New Member Steak Night this Saturday
Saturday, January 13th is New Member Night. The celebrations begin at Happy Hour with live music from Dean Poeppe 4:00 – 7:00pm. At 6:00pm a steak dinner will be served. New members from this season and the past two seasons get a free meal. Everyone who plans to have dinner needs to sign up. You can do this by emailing Sue at dinnerreservations@caberfaeskiclub.org or by signing the sheets in the rest room hallway. Please plan to come and welcome our new members!
Updating the Membership Photo Board
NOTE: Photos will be taken from 5-6pm Saturday by the round room fireplace prior to the new member dinner. Our popular Membership board will all of our smiling faces has been moved from the hallway into the dining room, a more prominent location. We need to update the board with photos of any new members, additions to families, or updated older photos. Jessica will be contacting people soon requesting updated or new photos. Prints can be delivered to Sue at the Club or images can be emailed to asst-sec-treas@caberfaeskiclub.org.
