Bike Ride and Picnic

The annual summer bike ride and picnic will be held this Saturday, July 2nd. Those who wish to ride should meet at the Cadillac city parking lot at 10:00 a.m.  The potluck picnic begins at 5:00 p.m. at the ski club.  Bring lawn chairs and a dish to share.  Burgers and steak provided by the club.  A limited selection of alcohol will be available for purchase with cash only.  Please do not bring your own.  Our liquor license forbids this. RSVP for the picnic to Sandy Demek at sdemek@gmailcom or (734) 740-1990.  This event is sponsored by the Demek family.  And what if you didn't RSVP and decide you want to come on Saturday?  Just come!

Condolences

Our club has lost another long-time member.  Dave Reiser passed away on June 22nd.  Dave gave many years of service to our club and just this spring resigned as assistant secretary/treasurer, an advisory position he held for many years.  Our condolences to his family and friends.  More information is available here.

Bar Committee and Job Opening

A committee is forming to plan for remodeling our bar.  If you are interested in helping, please contact Pat Bourassa at ptsh002@gmail.com or (920) 469-7854.

We are currently interviewing candidates interested in applying for the Secretary/Treasurer position at the club.  This is a part-time, paid position for a club member.  If you are interested, please contact Brian Nyland at bnyland@ameritech.net or (248) 755-9810 as soon as possible.
