The Caberfae Ski Club lost two members of our family this week, Kim Ellens and Bernie Bovee. Kim was best known as a member of the Caberfae Ski Chicks. A member of a group of ladies who enjoyed bringing light to the Stag's Head Lounge whenever they had a chance. Bernie holds the honor of being the original Bad Boy of Caberfae. During the late 1930s while the Civilian Conservation Corp. was clearing the hill to create the early runs, Bernie hitchhiked out from Cadillac with his new hickery snow skies he had received for Christmas. He climbed to the top of the best looking run, strapped on his skis and in less than one run, broke one of his skies when he hit a tree. We will miss them both. Read the obituaries...
A Reminder about Masking. In order to keep our members safe, we are encouraging everyone to wear a mask inside the club when not eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status.

Friday
* Clubhouse Grill opens for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. with service until 2 p.m.
* Lifts open at 10 a.m.
* Ticket Elf available until 11:15 a.m.
* Bar service in the Stag's Head Lounge from 4 - 7 p.m.
If you wish fresh air access to the bar, consider the outside staircase.
Saturday
* Clubhouse Grill opens for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. with service until 3 p.m.
* Lifts open at 9 a.m.
* Ticket Elf available until 11:15 a.m.
* Bar service in the Stag's Head Lounge from 4 - 8 p.m.
If you wish fresh air access to the bar, consider the outside staircase.
* One Man Band leader, Kevin Schafer, will be performing in the Stag's Head Lounge from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday
* Clubhouse Grill opens for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. with service until 2 p.m.

* Ticket Elf available until 11:15 a.m.
* Barn Door gets pulled at 3 p.m.
Presidents Day
* Clubhouse Grill opens for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. with service until 2 p.m.
* Lifts open at 9 a.m.
* Ticket Elf available until 11:15 a.m.
* Barn Door gets pulled at 3 p.m. preserving your valuables until the next Friday.
2. Annual Meeting - 4 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022
The annual meeting will be held on Saturday, February 26th at 4 p.m. in the Stag's Head Lounge for those that would like to attend in person. The meeting will also be offered online for those that would like to view by Zoom. Please give Norma your name and email and she will get you a link to the meeting. roelfsen@gmail.com. Now, remember, the bar is closed to maintain decorum during the meeting. But nobody said you can't purchase a six pack prior to 4 p.m. and tuck it under your chair. This suggestion is more to foster sanity, than prevent chaos.
