Skiing, Food, and Drink
Caberfae is scheduled to be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our kitchen will be open those days, and the bar opens at 4:00 on Saturday for Happy Hour. Volunteer bartenders are Mary Jane Canfield and Cathy Maher.
If the weather does not cooperate and Caberfae is unable to open, then the club will not open. Except for special occasions, if the ski hill is closed, our kitchen and bar are closed. But let’s think positive—bring on the snow!
Ticket Agent in the Club
There will be a ticket agent in the club Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:45 - 11:15. Season pass holders can pick up tickets there.
Parking Pass Pick-Up
Members who have parking passes can pick them up Saturday or Sunday. See Sue in the kitchen. Please remember that while parking in our lot on weekdays is available to all, on weekends and holidays a pass is required. Temporary parking to drop off and pick up gear is always allowed. And after 4:00 p.m. the lot is also open to any member.
We Need Bartenders!
Our volunteer bartenders save the club money and add fun and individuality to each happy hour. Please, if you use the bar, take your turn. Once you sign up, we’ll make sure you know the procedures—it’s not hard! We aim to have the bar open from 4:00 - 8:00 on Fridays and Saturdays whenever Caberfae is open. Our initial focus is to fill the slots for December and January. That also includes Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the holiday week. If you can’t help us out until later in the season, that’s fine too. You can email Katie at secretary-treasurer@caberfaeskiclub.org and let her know what date(s) work for you. You can also sign up on the sheet posted in the bar. As an extra incentive, once you serve as a bartender, your work bee requirement is fulfilled.
