Inside this issue:
1. Merry Christmas to us! Sue's Fine Vittles are back.
2. The Ticket Elf will move indoors.
3. Parking Passes are ready for pick up.
4. "SHUT IT DOWN...please!"
1. Merry Christmas to us! Sue's Fine Vittles are back.
Beginning the day after Christmas a limited menu of breakfast and lunch items will be available through the "Ski-Thru" dining room window (just like McDonald's...but better). Diners ski along (or maybe you better walk) just outside the dining room windows, under the Stag's Head Sun Deck, to the window closest to the kitchen. There will be two menus to choose from:
FAST-FOOD MENU:
SOUP small - medium - large (Chicken Noodle~always, plus a daily surprise)
HOT DOGS
TUNA SANDWICH
HAM & CHEESE SANDWICH
CANDY - CHIPS - BEVERAGES - GRANOLA BARS - COOKIES - CINNAMON TWIST - FRESH FRUIT
COOKED TO ORDER MENU:
BREAKFAST SANDWICH
BURGERS
GRILLED CHEESE
CHICKEN STRIP BASKET
FRENCH FRIES
Food service will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day during Christmas Week from December 26th to January 3rd,
Here's how it works. Ski up to the Ski-Thru window and pick-up a menu-order slip. Fill it out and return it to the window before you hit the slopes. Or, just fill out the menu-order from the Ski-Thru window. Please maintain your 6' social distance while in line for the Ski-Thru window. And, of course we all know, we can not gather nor eat inside the clubhouse.
Please be patient. This is new to everybody.
2. The Ticket Elf will move indoors...but you can't! (hear them laughing)
It turns out Dr. Fauci recently discovered ticket elves are immune to COVID! Can you believe it? During Christmas week you'll find one sitting on it's perch at the first window in the nice warm dining room, next to the nice warm round room. Just ski up to the first Ski-Thru window to get your ticket, and if you're hungry, just keep going to the last window for Sue's Fine Vittles. Pretty easy, huh? The elf will take up residence from 8:45 a.m. until until 11:15 a.m. Remember, they're partial to Sue's cinnamon twists and hot chocolate.
3. Parking Passes are ready for pick up. They're at the Sign-In sheet, near the front door of the round room. Please don't pick one up for a friend.
4. "SHUT IT DOWN...please!" Hey, if you pass by the new outdoor fire pit, or one of those really cool new patio heaters, and there's nobody enjoying them, would you please turn it off? Same holds true if you're the last one to leave an heater, please turn it off? The instructions on each of three pieces of equipment explain "How to light," and "How to turn off." Parents, tell you're little darlings it's OK to politely ask any old person (over 18) to light or shut off one of the heaters for them. After all, they're on hand to warm little hands, as well.
