Celebrating 80 Years of Skiing and Lifelong Friendships

February 23, 2021      Vol. XIV, #16

One might think, this year's Annual Meeting will be a drama-free snoozer, but President, Pat Bourassa has promised to pull at least one burning issue out of her helmet.  But, in order to find out what smoldering, you'll need to Zoom in and see.

Zooming is easy and can be done on your computer, tablet, or smart phone.  The first step is to register with club secretary/treasurer, Norma Roelfsema.  Send her an email with the message, "I can't wait to see the drama."  Send it to Norma: roelfsen@gmail.com.  She will promptly send you the Zoom link to the Annual Meeting.

Those tempting fate and sticking around outside the clubhouse for the Annual Meeting, there will be bar service.  Please be advised that there is no loitering inside the clubhouse.  The COVID Coral will be the place to be.

Now, the meeting is 5 p.m. this Saturday afternoon, February 27, 2021.  The experienced Zoomers will click the Zoom link at 4:45 p.m. to chat with members.  Right near the Zoom link that Norma sends you will appear the words, "User ID" and right under that is the word, "Password."  It's always a good idea to jot down both the User ID and the Password.  Now, click the link and follow the prompts.  Congratulations!  Now, quickly run to the kitchen and grab the cocktail of your choosing and settle in for the fireworks.

Wait ... there's more!  Maybe you have a burning question with which to fan the flames, or to light a fire of your own.  If you do, please send it to Norma using her email address above.  This will give time to spin an appropriate response.

So, if you don't Zoom in you'll never know if I'm blowing smoke or not.  And remember, this is the big social event of the season (except Work Bee).

Besides, you won't want to miss the introduction of the newly elected board members and the new club officers.  There will even be an update from Pete and Tim Meyer.

Please plan to join us, and remember, it's an open bar and the cocktails are on the house.
