 2.  FAMILY FUN DAY, THIS SATURDAY, February 1, 2020.  Come join the fun with kids ski races in the morning and a bonfire out behind the propane tank, with a hot dog roast. The “Groanies” will have their own ‘Fun Day’ up in the Stag’s Head Lounge.

Kids Races:  Age groups include 5 and under, 6 to 7, and 8 to 9 year olds. Registration takes place Saturday morning at the Ticket Elf Table.  All racers are to Meet at 11:15 sharp in front of the clubhouse.  Racing begins at 11:30 a.m. on Lower Easy Street.   A big Ski Club thanks to James Netzley for organizing this Super Duper-GS (Giggle Slalom).  An award ceremony will follow immediately in the Round Room.  All racers will receive a yummy prize!!!

A Bonfire and Hotdog Roast, complete with smores for roasting, will be ablaze around 4 p.m. behind the clubhouse, near the propane tank.

3.  SUPER BOWL BOOKIE - Regarding that time honored Super Bowl tradition involving an X and Y axis.  If you wish to know more, be in the Stag’s Head Lounge Saturday afternoon. Look for a ski bum wearing dark goggles and a stinky old T-shirt.  Give him a Labatt’s Blue and whisper, “A proper football is inflated to 13 pounds.” Cash only … no credit cards and no IOU’s … especially from any members (or extended members) of the Demek clan. BTW, there is absolutely hardly any truth to the rumor that this Pre-Super Bowl party will run straight thru until the end of the game Sunday night.  But it might … but most likely probably not … maybe.

4.  WANT INSTANT RESPECT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO EARN?  Simple answer?  Toss your name in the hat and run for the Board of Directors.  Bonus! You go straight to the top of the coveted Parking Lot List.  For information on serving the club as a board member, please contact Mary Jane Canfield mjdc@mortgageone.com or Cathy Maher chmaher@comcast.net.

5.  HERE'S YOUR CHANCE to REVIEW the PROPOSED BY-LAWS. Just over five years ago the Board of the CSC embarked on a journey to conduct a complete review of the club's Constitution and By-Laws.  This was undertaken for the first time in over 30 years.  It was time, change has happened over the years - family structure, legal liability, insurance requirements, electronic communication, to name a few.  And with that, a lot of suggestions, ideas, discussions, and debate.

Check out the proposed By-Laws and the current version of the

By-laws at www.caberfaeskiclub.org   On the menu bar, across the top of the page, click on By-Laws to select either "Old By-Laws" or "New By-Laws"  The new By-Laws will be presented for a vote at the CSC Annual Meeting on February 29, 2020.

Want to talk about it?  Join members of the Board and By-Law Committee members at 1 PM, Sunday, February 9 or 16, 2020 in the board room, located at the top of the stairs in the Round Room.

How to vote on the By-Laws. The current By-Laws require a member to be present at the Annual Meeting to vote on changes to the By-Laws.  However, there is a provision to send a "proxy."  If you are unable to attend the meeting you may choose to give proxy, in writing, to a board member or the Club Secretary/Treasurer, prior to the meeting.
